A rough cut for the 2023 film The Inheritance.
The film follows a sister and brother who unexpectedly inherit a fortune from their late great-uncle. As the sole beneficiaries, they become targets of envy and resentment from other family members who believe they deserve a share. Tensions rise as the siblings are forced to protect not only their inheritance but also themselves from the schemes of those who feel entitled to their newfound wealth.

This edit is from a Law & Order: SVU episode and was completed as part of an assignment during my time at the Academy of Art University film program. The project involved selecting and assembling footage from a pool of multiple shots, focusing on showcasing various camera angles and editing techniques. The project showcases a variety of cinematic techniques—ranging from diverse shot types and camera angles to intentional cuts, lighting choices, and natural soundscapes. Through careful editing, the film highlights how visual and auditory elements can be harmonized to evoke presence, stillness, and sensory awareness. It serves as both a creative exploration and a meditative experience, illustrating how technical aspects of filmmaking can support emotional and mindful engagement.
